Tips and Tricks for iTunes Users
Here are a few tips and tricks for new users of iPhones:
Make iPhones Ringtones: You can make iPhone ringtones from the music you already have. It is simple; Select a music track that you like, right-click, go to Get Info and select Options. Uncheck the start time and stop time and input the timeframe you want (less than 30 seconds is standard). Click Ok. Right click again and select Create AAC Version.
Share Playlists with Friends: Also, you can share music collections with your friends by creating and sharing playlists in the iTunes store. The songs in the playlist, if present in iTunes store, will play for thirty seconds to your friends. However, the songs that are not available in iTunes store will not show up in the shared playlist. If your playlists do not show Publish the Playlist in the sources column, go to iTunes>Preferences (Windows, Edit>Preferences) and tick Show Links to iTunes Store to enable this feature.
Play Music on Google Docs: Though Google music is only available in the U.S. at the moment, other users can also find a way to stream music from Google. First, get a sync app like Syndoc. Syndoc synchronizes files to Google Docs, so that you can download and play them from another browser. Also, you can email the files or a short link in Syndocs to share with your friends. Click
Syndoc to install the latest free beta version of the software. After installing it, right click on the folder containing your music and select Create Google Playlist.
These are only a few of the many tips and tricks that will help you enjoy iTunes to the fullest.
